Gemalto/Thales – The Review

I designed and art directed The Review and /review for over 8 years.

Gemalto were a world leader in digital security and The Review was their flagship communication to all their key business partners and industry experts. Gemalto was acquired by Thales in 2009.

The project included all the commissioning of illustration and photography to sit in line with the breadth of subjects covered in the magazine. /review reused much of the content, but also involved the creation of infographics, video, animation and longform pieces of content of specific subjects, such as facial recognition and the Internet of Things.

Typical editorial subjects included, The autonomous mobility, biometrics, contactless payments, digital security, cybercrime, identity and transport systems.

In this time it won 5 CMA best B2B magazine awards in succession and remains undefeated.
